বাংলাদেশ চলচ্চিত্র শিল্পী সমিতির নির্বাচনে সাধারণ সম্পাদক পদে চিত্রনায়ক জায়েদ খানকে বিজয়ী ঘোষণা করা হয়েছে। কিন্তু সেই ফল মেনে নেননি প্রতিদ্বন্দ্বী প্রার্থী চিত্রনায়িকা নিপুণ আক্তার। ভোট পুনর্গণনা চেয়ে আপিল করেছেন তিনি। প্রসঙ্গত, সমিতির ২০২২-২৪ মেয়াদের জন্য সভাপতি পদে জয়ী হয়েছেন ঢাকাই সিনেমার জনপ্রিয় অভিনেতা ইলিয়াস কাঞ্চন ও সাধারণ সম্পাদক পদে জয়ী হয়েছেন জায়েদ খান। সভাপতি পদে ইলিয়াস কাঞ্চন পেয়েছেন মোট ১৯১টি ভোট। অন্যদিকে তার নিকটতম প্রার্থী মিশা সওদাগর পেয়েছেন ১৪৮টি ভোট। সাধারন সম্পাদক পদে আবারও জয়ের দেখা পেয়েছেন জায়েদ খান। তিনি পেয়েছেন ১৭৬টি ভোট। অন্যদিকে তার প্রতিদ্বন্দী প্রার্থী নিপূন পেয়েছে ১৬৩টি ভোট।   সর্বশেষ পাওয়া তথ্যে অন্যান্য পদে নির্বাচিত হয়েছেন সহ-সভাপতি পদে ডিপজল ও রুবেল, সহ-সাধারণ সম্পাদক পদে সাইমন সাদিক জয়ী হয়েছেন। সাংগঠনিক সম্পাদক হয়েছেন শাহানূর, কোষাধ্যক্ষ হয়েছেন আজাদ খান, দপ্তর সম্পাদক হলেন আরমান, সংস্কৃতি ও ক্রীড়া সম্পাদক পদে জিতেছেন মামনুন ইমন, আন্তর্জাতিক বিষয়ক সম্পাদক পদে জয়ী হয়েছেন জয় চৌধুরী। কার্যকরী সদস্য পদে জয়ী হয়েছেন মৌসুমী, অঞ্জনা, রোজিনা, অরুণা বিশ্বাস, ...
